ScaleProduction developed a unique mounting system that allows the modeler to mount aftermarket wheels to almost any model kit, without the need to modify the wheels. How does it work? It is actually quite simple and self-explaining. The wheels are engineered as multi-piece items: Wheel insert (injection molded, a variety of designs will be available) Central locking pin (injection molded) UMS – male type for Tamiya style mounting systems (injection molded) UMS – female type for Fujimi style mounting systems (injection molded)
